Our interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience and biochemistry. We are using biochemical and biophysical tools to understand nervous system development, and how and why it nervous system diseases emerge.

We are developing and using tools to make large-scale discoveries in the cell-surface receptor realm, aimed towards understanding how complicated eukaryatic systems and organs, specificically the nervous system can wire itself properly.

Our discoveries are feeding studies that are geared towards understanding the biophysical principles and molecular details of cell surface interactions in multiple systems.
